New theory of courtship
25 August 2011
It seems like, really, courtship just goes like this:
Two people find themselves attracted to one another. They flirt. They keep flirting, in greater and greater detail, until one of them no longer finds the other attractive. Then they break up. If this does not happen, they get married and live ever after. After that there are many complicated things but they are not part of courtship. But maybe they should be. It seems like perpetual courtship might be a good way to keep those pleasant feelings a-flutter.

I really wish I could sit down with you now and have a good conversation over coffee, preferably at the beach. Been thinking about you a lot recently.
